\ufeffIn my writings, I have successively presented the human being, by which I mean his innermost essence, his spirit, in relation to his circumstances.<\/p>\n

In The Return to the Sources<\/em> (Rueda Publishers, Madrid, 1993), where I outline my later work, I recount my own search within these circumstances and the discovery of the perspective that would allow me to observe them impartially.\n In Psychosophy. Psycho-Philosophical Investigations into the Nature of the Human Being<\/em> (Dunken Publishers, Buenos Aires, 2004), I deal with the circumstances that man encounters before looking at the world: the psychic ones,\n a complex and fascinating labyrinth, with its beautiful mountains and high peaks, where his virtues dwell, from which he can contemplate the broad horizon encompassing his own Nature, as well as its deep alluvial ravines where his\n vices grow, through whose rushing waters he has allowed himself to be swept away so many times. In Origin and Destiny of Man<\/em> (Dunken Publishers, Buenos Aires, 2008), I have placed him before the world that surrounds him,\n before his universal circumstances, with the aim of making him a participant in that Cosmos, of integrating him into the Universal Order.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

 <\/span>But one might ask whether the human being knows what he is doing in these circumstances and what he must do with them, with his mind and with the world, and whether he\n evolves in his knowledge of them; for this purpose, I have written The Evolution of the Spirit<\/em> (Dunken Publishers, Buenos Aires, 2009). Even so, without being fully conscious of those environments in which he finds himself,\n he has had to live and organise himself for this purpose with his fellow human beings, forming communities, whether closed, tribal, cosmopolitan, or vast empires in which he has expanded his culture, which have generated their own\n circumstances, sometimes excessively oppressive, to the point of causing them to disappear. In this project, in this shared search for a destiny, he has experimented with various ideals, tried countless resources; in short, in this\n coming and going within the process of becoming, he has gradually made his history.<\/p>\n

This unavoidable inheritance, which is part of him and of which he forms a part, requires meaning and demands an explanation; hence the need for a Philosophy of History, extending from Homo sapiens<\/em> (Origin and Destiny of Man<\/em>)\n to the present day (The Triumph of the Masses<\/em>).
